Ultra-Thin TV Installation
This was our first ultra-thin flat panel installation for the new Samsung UN series LED LCD TV’s. Much care went into planning and installation to ensure that the TV would get as close to the wall as possible without damaging the power or video cables. A recessed wall box was custom fitted into the wall behind the connection panel on the TV for more room for the cables to gently bend and plug into the TV. Any standard or “wall clock” power plug would push put against the TV so we opted to install the power plug into the recessed wall box to completely eliminate any problems.
The Control4 remote and on screen display make using this system a breeze. Each source is just a click away thanks to the easy to use menu system of the Control4 Home Controller. Using this same interface we can pull up a camera in the kids play room to keep an eye on them or control lights in different parts of the house. 
The new Samsung UN55B8000 is the thinnest TV ever produced and in this installation we accentuate its depth by using an ultra flat wall mount keeping the TV less than 1” away from the back wall.
