Decatur Home Theater
Man CaveWhen our customer purchased his new home in Decatur he immediately wanted to turn an upstairs room into a dedicated home theater. The room had potential, but a large closet in the back of the room and a recession in the side wall with a window were some of the major challenges that faced us. We decided to completely remove the back closet and in its place add an 8” tall seating riser. The recession in the side wall was covered and a door was added for access to the space. The area created by covering up the recession was turned into an equipment closet complete with DVD and CD storage. A few sheet rock columns with sconces were added in the back of the room. New dark carpet and paint complete the room.
