Colleyville Home Theater - Widescreen Gold
This theater underwent a complete makeover from a 4:3 cinema with the screen between the columns to a 2.35:1 cinemascope widescreen movie theater with the screen extending well past the older columns. The room was completely transformed from the drab beige that adorned the columns, ceiling and floor to a bold black that brings through the richness of the acoustical walls. The cabinet was custom built to match the curvature of the riser and to keep the lights from the equipment dim.

Even with the lights on the projector screen is the focal point of the room. Here the screen is set to wide showing what a full cinemascope movie would look like.
Here on the rush concert DVD the Stewart projector screen is set to 16:9 aspect ratio bringing the masking in from the sides to frame the image.
The projector hush-box is barely visible as you look into the fiber optic star-field.
The screen is in 16:9 mode as we watch Neil Peart perform one of the best drum solos on the Snakes and Arrows concert Blu-ray.
In this vertical picture of the front we capture the equipment, screen and star-field.
The front of the room looks even better with the lights down low. The McIntosh processor and amplifier lights have a soft glow behind the smoked glass doors.
The custom black wall sconces give this home theater a very personal touch.
The other wall sconce is mounted next to the Control4 Zigbee dimmers at the entrance to the home cinema.
The back of the room with a custom built riser and red chairs to add a bit of color into the theater.
